My p900 no longer is recognised by my pc connection software. I have tried re-loading the software but it still does'nt work. It simply does not recognise my p900. Any ideas???  I'm running windows xp. My phone connection link in the toolbar states the phone is connected. Oh and i'm using the base station with USB

Try this. Go to control panel. Click printers and other software. then on the left side, it will say "See also" under that column it will say add software. Click on that and it should pick up the right software for the P900

Thanks but i can only see add hardware? do you mean that. I wont do anything until you reply incase i do something wrong. By the way on another forum people are having the same problem as me. Is it a software problem with Sony Ericsson???

  Oh hold on..... It works! i connected the phone to the base station when the opened the add new harware icon and it re-connected my phone.. Thanks for your help, I owe you a beer!

  Bugger it's gone again. The phone wont be recognised again by the computer even thought it's connected??? I await a reply from Sony Ericsson to see if they can help

 :-\ Well the story continues..... I have now disconnected the base station, removed all the Sony ericsson software with uninstall, then made sure there were no files left within the hard drive. Then re-installed the software then re-connected the phone and voila! it all appears to be working again. For how long nobody knows but it's working fine now. Oh i also disabled my virus protection software while i re-loaded the software

ARRRRRGHHHHHH!!!!!

The same thing is now happening to me with my P900.  My PC can't synch or install programs to the P900.  It always says failed or disconnected and asks me to reconnect the phone.  I've uninstalled and re-installed all the PC Suite programs and still no change.  What gives???!!!

I use Windows 2000 on my PC...

Can anyone help me and Dave?

I have the same problems  
When I called the support here i Sweden he told me they newer heard about the problem, the only thing he could think of was to dissabled the firewall but that doesn´t solve the problem.
I run Windows XP Pro.

I think my problem are solved, It was the  ?? DSS 25 station that was broken.
I got a new one from the dealer and now it works  
I will try to uppgrade to night to the new firmware.

If you run Outlook express it won´t work, you need to install Outlook thats in the Office package the SE support told me.

It's good to see that I'm not the only one with this problem, but that doesn't solve it. I cannot make a connection with my comupter either! I tried it on another computer and it worked perfect, but no idea wy it doesn't work on mine. I run XP on a brand new computer, tried everything and the only thing my computer says is"'There is a fault in mRouterRuntime MFC Application and it has to be shutdown"
I will keep trying..........

My PC suite wont even let me install.. i try to start the installation but it says " another application has been installed/uninstalled since your last reboot, please restart your computer to complete this installation.."  this is weird because i have not installed anything since my last reboot.  anyways.. i resart my computer and try again.. but i get the same message..help!
