Was I the only one who hated the design of the W800, had to buy a K750 and convert it to W800, and still didn't love the design? Sony Ericsson today unveiled at CES Las Vegas an aesthetic blend of those two, with essentially the same features and the addition of Quadband and EDGE support, dedicated music buttons in the joystick a la W900. The rest of it, you know: 2 megapixel camera with autofocus and flashlight, 1.9" 176x220 pixel 262k color screen, Memory Stick Duo Pro slot, etc., etc., etc., and 20mb of internal memory. Yes, more than half less than the W800, but it comes with a 512mb card so why even bother, no? Actually, something bothers me... apparently they took out the Radio FM! Anyway, it's called the W810i and will be available worldwide in the first quarter of this happy new year.

Well, it's a nice phone, but in my opinion, it's not worth upgrading from k750i or w800i.

Emil, I wouldn't expect a flagship phone for a few months at the very least. My sources are telling me even as late as the second half of 2006 before something revolutionary, or at least with some new features.

That's a good looking phone. Must be the color that makes it easier on the eye. I guess I have to wait another half year before SE comes out with something revolutionary instead of evolutionary.

SharkyMark, unfortunately that's the way it seems to be going at the moment.

Unfortunately it seems that way. I hope SE will bring out a nicely designed fully speced phone soon. My T610 is getting old.

   i wonder how would the w810 screen behave and loook like.  the 176 x 220 resoltion was spread in a 1.9" screen as compared to w800's 1.8".  would that render w810's screen pixels a little grainier than w800?  In the SE home page w810 was qouted to have an FM RDS radio.  taht i would believe.. though some reports say that the radio was stripped off from w810.  Is w810 a good upgrade to a k750/w800?

@crossmatched...w180 is not an upgrade for k750/w800....is an alternative for ppl in NA becuase they have been complaining bout no 850 and no EDGE and stuff like that.

I personally think it should be the original w800...the w800 is just a nasty k750 but there isnt much difference between this and the w800 sooo...
