P910 (P910i, P910c, P910a) Announced 15th July 2004

Even closer to perfection:
looping the smartphone loop

Sony Ericsson has perfectioned the P900 to stay in the throne of the smartphones for the next half year, by adding just what the target business people group were dreaming of. With the same ideal form factor introduced by the P800 and the new additions, the almost-perfect P910 leaves less space for improvement and can be without a doubt called the definitive PDA+Phone+Multimedia device.

Claves:
All in one: PDA, Phone, MP3, Camera...
Large 262k color TFT touchscreen
Symbian 7 UIQ 2.1 OS (lots of thirdparty software)
The only PDA with four ways of text input
Virtually unlimited memory: MS DUO Pro cards + 96mb internal memory

Diferencias clave con el P900:
Qwerty thumboard in the back of the keypad
Brighter 262k color screen (vs. 65k)
MStick DUO Pro support of 1gb (vs. DUO 128mb)
Internal 64mb user memory + 32 RAM (vs. 16+16)

In a few words: the P900 was mainly a software upgrade from the P800 with different design to "disguise" the basically same hardware; now the P910 is mainly a hardware upgrade from the P900 with same design to "justify" the basically same software. The conclusion is that the P910 is a very solid and coherent result

With the optional CSS-25 craddle/deskspeaker

The flip hinge is much much stronger than the one of the P900 and you can hold the phone confidently by the thumb keyboard

The shape of each key is perfectly designed so whichever one you want to press, you will press it right, no matter how big your hands are:

P910 supports Memory Stick DUO Pro cards up to 1 gigabyte, and that's finally A LOT of music, A LOT of movies and A LOT of time for video recording

Even the internal 64mb plus the 32mb card included in the box give you pretty more than what the average user needs

Altough 5 grams heavier, the new keyboard isn't thicker than the old one
The screen of the P910 (right) is noticeably brighter than the one of the P900 (left):

QuickOffice installed by default!

No major problems for users of other alphabets than the standard latin; apart from different keyboard layouts, options for special characters appear when pressing any key (and are selected by pressing the key more times, like in multitap):

Promyzer is also included

Here you can see the difference of color between the P900 (right) and the P910 (left). If you look at other photos you will also notice that the material is also different, with a new smoother texture

Supports HTML email as well as full screen email viewing

Adjustable screen brightness and 4 profiles

Customizable SMS folders

The screen is even more visible in direct sunlight than the P900 (which is already good enough)
