(*) There is a controversy about the K500's screen. When it was announced, some official sources (people, websites, press releases) said it was 128x160 pixels (like T630/T610/Z600) and some said 176x220 (like K700/Z1010). Some other say that it's 128x160 but it handles all the graphics in some mysterious way to offer a quality very close to the 176x220 displays. It's a fact that the K500 can use the very same themes used in the K700. Now most official websites say 128x160, but it's really difficult to believe that the screen of the K500 is so close in sharpness and definition to the K700's using a much lower resolution display; not to mention that it's a hundred times better than the screens of T630/Z600 which in theory sport the same screen in a 99% (even larger in physical size). Therefore, it is fair to leave space for the belief that the K500 actually uses a 176x220 pixel resolution screen; and that if not, it undoubtedly LOOKS like it.

The screen is noticeably larger than the one of the T610, T630 and K700

The joystick, however, is smaller than the one of the K700, altough still larger and more comfortable than the traditionals used in T630, T610 and T68i

In the upper part of the K500's peculiar lateral design, it's some milimeters thicker than the K700, which itself is considerably thicker than the T630/T610. Good cameras and good loudspeakers need space

^NOTE: My digital camera records videos at only 10 frames per second, so the animation of the menus and Java performance in this video don't look as smooth as it really is.
